The Rapture

The Rapture was an American rock band formed in 1998 in New York City. The group was known for blending various musical influences, including post-punk, new rave, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electronica, and rock and roll. Some of the members were also involved in other projects. The band quietly disbanded in early 2014 but reunited in 2019, excluding member Mattie Safer.
