The Rare Breed was a band hailing from Brooklyn, NY. They are known for their recording of "Beg, Borrow and Steal," which was later re-released under a different credit, despite no direct relation to the other band associated with the song. The group consisted of members Barry Stolnick on keyboards, John Freno as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Alexander (Botts) Norbett on bass, Joel Feigenbaum on rhythm guitar, Tony Cambria on drums, and Jim Pfayler on organ.
