The Regents were a doo-wop vocal group from New York that gained prominence in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They are best known for their 1961 hit, "Barbara-Ann," which they wrote and recorded. The group consisted of members Ernie Maresca, Chuck Fassert (who is the brother of "Barbara-Ann" songwriter Fred Fassert), Guy Villari, Sal Cuomo, Tony Gravagna, and Don Jacabucci.
