The Revels were an American instrumental rock'n'roll band active from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, primarily performing along the West Coast. Originally known as 'Gil Serna & The Rockets' until 1959, the band reformed in 1957 with members Sam Eddy on piano, Gil Serna on lead vocals, Norman Knowles on saxophone, Dan Arnold on guitar, Jim Macrae on drums, and Brian England on bass. In 1960, Gil Serna departed from the group and was replaced by Dave Davis on guitar.
