The Rhythm Makers are an American funk group hailing from the Bronx, New York City. Originally formed in 1968 as Sabu & The Survivors, the group underwent a name change around 1978. They reemerged as The Rhythm Makers in the mid-2000s. The current lineup includes Emanuel “Rahiem” LeBlanc on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Keith Crier on bass guitar and vocals, Kenny Banks on drums and vocals, and Herb Lane on keyboards and vocals.
