The Rock Shop was a US garage band hailing from Monterey, CA, active between 1966 and 1970. Led by the flamboyant guitarist Leonard "Pooch" Paschini, the band regularly performed at iconic venues such as Bull's Eye Tavern, Longshoremen's Hall, The Matrix, and The Fillmore. They shared stages with notable acts like the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Iron Butterfly, and Steppenwolf. In 1967, The Bitter Seeds recorded their sole 45 RPM single, released under the name The Rock Shop to prevent confusion with another band. They should not be confused with a band from West Covina, CA.
