The Rockin' Rebels, also known as The Rebels, were a surf music band hailing from Buffalo, New York. They gained recognition for their instrumental hit "Wild Weekend." The band repressed the song "Rockin' Crickets," originally released in 1959 by the Hot-Toddys, under their name on Swan Records. Both versions of the song are identical.
