The Rollers were a musical quartet consisting of Shirley Levan, Betty Joe Johnson, Sharon Simmons, and Mary Smith, the sister of Helene Smith. They are known for their instrumental tracks that were discovered among tapes at the home of famed Miami producer Willie Clarke's ex-wife. These recordings, made at Criteria Studios, likely date from after 1969 and feature melodies reminiscent of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." Although no official records were released under the Rollers name during their active period, the group later released several singles under the name Diamonettes.
