The Royalettes were a girl group formed in Baltimore, Maryland, consisting of sisters Sheila Ross and Anita Ross, their cousin Veronica "Roni" Brown, and their friend Terry Jones. The members formed the group while attending high school and sang in the "sweet soul" style of the mid-60s. Sheila Ross served as the lead singer. The Royalettes disbanded in 1969.
