The Sabres Of Paradise was a dub-influenced leftfield electronic trio formed in 1992, consisting of Andrew Weatherall, Jagz Kooner, and Gary Burns. The group emerged from a series of successful remix collaborations prior to adopting the name "Sabres Of Paradise," which included remixes of tracks such as "Papua New Guinea," "Weatherall's Weekender," and "Centre Of The World." They began releasing their own material in 1993 but gained more recognition for their innovative remixes of other artists. The trio disbanded in 1995, after which Weatherall collaborated with producer/engineer Hugo Nicholson, while Kooner and Burns joined other projects.
