The Saints are an Australian rock band that was formed in Brisbane in 1973 by Chris Bailey (guitar and vocals), Ed Kuepper (guitar), and Ivor Hay (drums). They are recognized as an early punk rock band and were the first group outside of the United States to release a punk record, which was their debut single in September 1976. Throughout their career, The Saints have experienced a series of line-up changes.
