The Serenaders were a doo-wop, soul, and rhythm and blues vocal quartet from New Jersey, who began their career in 1956. They played a significant role in building up the repertoire in New York. The group originally consisted of leader George Kerr, Sidney Barnes, Timothy Wilson, Howard Curry, and Luke Gross. Notably, Eddie Kendricks from the Temptations featured on the track "If Your Heart Says Yes." It is important not to confuse The Serenaders with the doo-wop group from Detroit, MI.
