Bio: The Servicemen were a talented vocal group consisting of four members from the US Airforce and one from the US Army, based at Luke Air Force Base near Phoenix, Arizona. Despite their impressive vocal abilities and a few releases, they did not achieve the fame they deserved in the USA. The group's formation began when Larry Banks met James Mitchell, who then introduced Edgar "Goody" Goodman, a first tenor from the Tridels, and baritone Victor Gussew, both of whom impressed Mitchell with their vocal style. The final piece of the group was a bass singer, which proved challenging to find until Mitchell approached his friend James Bailey. Although Bailey was initially hesitant due to his religious beliefs, he ultimately decided to join the group, bringing his experience to The Servicemen.
