The Shadow Casters were a garage band based in Aurora, Illinois, active from 1966 to 1969. The band released two singles during their brief career: "It'll Be Too Late/Going To The Moon" on J.R.P. Records in 1967, and "Cinnamon Snowflake/But Not Today" on J.R.P. Records in 1968. The lineup included Bill Maakestad as the lead vocalist, Gregory Ellis on lead guitar (who was later replaced by Thom Swiss), Ron Pansing on bass, and Bill Buff on drums.
