The Shapeshifters are a house music and nu-disco project originally formed by Simon Marlin from the UK and Max Reich from Sweden. They gained prominence with their 2004 UK singles chart #1 hit, "Lola's Theme." After Reich departed in 2017, Marlin continued to carry on the legacy of The Shapeshifters. In the United States, their releases were credited under the name Shape due to a trademark conflict with a hip hop group based in Los Angeles.
