The Sheltons were a 1960s soul rock group hailing from New Mexico. The band consisted of Steve Lucero on vocals, keyboard, and saxophone; George (Bud) Lucero on guitar; Robert Elks on guitar; Ray Avila on bass; and Toby Romero on drums. Throughout their journey, other musicians such as Eddie Sanchez, Max Peralta, Jerry Chavez, and Randy Castillo also passed through the band.
