The Silhouettes were a renowned doo-wop and soul group from Philadelphia, celebrated for their self-penned hit "Get A Job," which topped the R&B and pop charts in 1958. The original lineup included Bill Horton (lead), Raymond Edwards (bass), Earl Beal (baritone), and Richard Lewis (tenor), all of whom were active from 1956 to 1961 and later reunited from 1980 to 1993. John Wilson and Cornelius Brown joined the group as lead and bass, respectively, from 1961 to 1968.
