The Sleepers were a 1960s garage rock group from Mansfield, Ohio, active from 1964 to 1967. Fronted by lead guitarist Tom Zinser, they were originally known as "Tommy Z and the Sleepers." In 1966, the band recorded two songs at Audio Recording in Cleveland, both written by Zinser. The A-side, "I Want a Love," is characterized as a strong fast garage rocker featuring raw fuzz guitar, while the B-side, "Time Will Tell," leans towards folk-rock. The 45 achieved moderate success, receiving some regional airplay and selling several hundred copies before the group disbanded in early 1967.
