The Small Faces were an English rock band from East London, formed in 1965. The original lineup included lead vocalist and guitarist Steve Marriott, bassist Ronnie Lane, drummer Kenney Jones, and keyboardist Ian McLagan. In 1966, Winston was replaced by keyboardist McLagan. Initially influenced by American rhythm & blues, the band became one of the most acclaimed and influential mod groups of the 1960s, known for hit songs like “Itchycoo Park,” “Lazy Sunday,” “All or Nothing,” “Tin Soldier,” and their concept album “Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake.” They evolved into one of the UK’s most successful psychedelic acts of the late 1960s before disbanding in early 1969 following Marriott’s departure to form a new group. The remaining members were later joined by guitarist and lead vocalist Ron Wood and the new lineup was renamed to Faces. The original Small Faces reunited in 1975 and remained active with further line-up changes until 1978.
