The Softies were a minimalistic US indie pop duo active from the mid-1990s to 2000, formed by two artists after the disbandment of Tiger Trap in 1994. Originally a side project, their music is characterized by its low-key style, primarily featuring just their two guitars and vocals. The duo released three albums before disbanding in 2000, although they have reunited for rare live performances since then.
