The Springers were a 1960s soul group hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed and produced by the owner of the small Wale label, the group released four songs on this label, with two additional tracks appearing on Ves-Thad. Their music includes six songs from these rare singles, along with ten previously unissued tracks, including alternate versions, which were recorded in 1965 and 1966. These works were compiled in the album "The Best of the Springers: Nothing's Too Good for My Baby." Thom Bell was reportedly involved in some or all of the arrangements, and musicians who later contributed to '70s Philadelphia soul hits for the Philadelphia International label were also part of the recordings.
