The Staple Singers

The Staple Singers were a US gospel and R&B group from Chicago, Illinois, led by guitarist and singer Roebuck "Pops" Staples, along with his daughters and son. They were signed to Warner Bros. from 1976 to 1978, during which time they went by the name The Staple Singers. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 as performers.
