The Staples is a US gospel and R&B group led by guitarist and singer Roebuck "Pops" Staples, along with his daughters Mavis, Yvonne, and Cleotha, and son Pervis. They are better known as The Staple Singers, but while signed to Warner Bros. from 1976 to 1978, they went by the name The Staples.
