The Stumps are a New Zealand trio consisting of Antony Milton on guitar, vocals, and ethnomusicological field recordings; James Kirk on drums, guitar, and beard; and Stephen Clover on bass, synth, and fighting talk. Known as "a pocket sized Fushitsusha," The Stumps meld their experience from classic New Zealand noise bands with their youthful aspirations of being in superloud kraut rock and psychedelic bands.
