The Sundowners is an open band project associated with the Drag City roster, particularly the Sea Note sub-label. The first 7" release, titled "Goat Songs," featured a collaboration between Will Oldham, known as Palace Brothers at the time, and Smog, the project of Bill Callahan. The second release primarily showcased Smog's work, while the third 7" is rumored to be the creation of Rachel Brook's post-Flying Saucer Attack project, Movietone.
