The Sunglows, led by Sunny Ozuna on lead vocals, were a notable musical group with a diverse lineup. The original members included Manuel Guerra (Leader), Gregg Ramirez (Bass), Rudy Guerra (Tenor Sax), Henry Nanez (Guitar), Tommy Luna (Tenor Sax), Andy Ortiz (Piano), Arthur Gonzalez (Electric Piano), Martin Liñan (Alto Sax), Gilbert Fernandez (Tenor Sax), and Amos Johnson Jr. (Trumpet). Over the years, the band saw several changes in its lineup. Johnny Silva served as the Bassist and Manager from 1977 to 2021, while Raymond Silva played Sax from 1977 to 2000. David Silva was on Keyboards from 1977 to 1981, and Dimas Garza lent his vocals from 1977 to 1980. Joe Lara contributed Vocals and Guitar from 1986 to 1990, and George Colon was on Bass from 1986 to 1991. Eddie Esquivel played Trumpet and Keyboards from 1979 to 1991, and Mike Hernandez was the drummer from 1977 to 2002. The Sunglows were known for their dynamic performances and rich musical contributions throughout their active years.
