The Surfmen were a group of prominent west coast jazz musicians brought together by the owner of the Somerset label. Tasked with replicating the popular Exotica sound of albums by various artists, The Surfmen recorded two albums for Miller in the early 1960s, which he released and later reissued under different titles.
