The Sweet Things is a soul trio from Washington D.C., formed by Francine Hurd and two other members in the mid-60s. They debuted under a different name at a subsidiary of Los Angeles' label and released just one single before rebranding themselves as The Sweet Things. In 1965, they signed a contract with Columbia's label.
