The Symphonics were a US soul group, likely hailing from Chicago, IL. Known for their solid instrumental support and infectious upbeat sound, they became the second act signed to Curtom Records in 1968 during the label's early development. Unfortunately, they joined Curtom at a time when the label lacked national distribution. Their single "When I Grow Old" b/w "Guilty" was the second release from the company, primarily distributed in Chicago and other local markets.
