The Tams, originally co-founded by Charles Pope and his late brother Joe Pope in 1959, are an American vocal group hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. The group has also been known as 'The Joe Pope Tams' and 'The Mighty Tams.' Charles Pope's son, known as "Little Redd," has been performing with the group since he was six years old. The current lineup includes Charles Pope, Li’l Redd, Robert Arnold, Elton Richardson, Greg Gallashaw, and Reginald Preston. Notably, member Joseph Jones Jr. (Little Joe) passed away from pancreatic cancer on December 31, 2010, at the age of 64.
