The Threshold HouseBoys Choir was a musical project by Peter Christopherson, launched in 2005 as a continuation of his work with the group Coil. Despite its name, it was a solo endeavor that heavily utilized computer-generated vocals, with Christopherson credited as the "director." The name is a play on words, merging concepts like houseboy, house of boys, boys' choir, and Threshold House. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, one of its notable performances took place in 2008 at the historic Ambrosio Cinema in Turin, Italy, where Christopherson, alongside David Tibet, Othon Mataragas, and Ernesto Tomasini, provided a live soundtrack for Derek Jarman's film The Angelic Conversation, originally scored by Coil in the 1980s. The final performance of The Threshold HouseBoys Choir occurred on June 14, 2009, at Conway Hall in London during the Equinox Festival.
