The Tidal Wave was a 1960s garage rock group hailing from Roseville, Michigan. They achieved notable success in the US with their 1966 hit single "Farmer John." The band later changed their name. The members of The Tidal Wave included Mark Karpinski, Tom Wearing, Bob Slap, Bill Long, and Jon Wearing.
