The Tigers is a Japanese Group Sounds band and early Japanese rock pioneers who debuted in February 1967. The group consisted of a singer, bassist, lead guitarist, drummer, and guitarist, with members known by their nicknames. Katsumi Kahashi left the group in 1969 and was replaced by another member. The Tigers split up in 1971 but reformed briefly in the early 80s and had a second reunion in 2013.
