The Times is a musical project that originated in the UK, initially led by Edward Ball. The group was active from 1980 to 1986 and included members such as John East, Simon Smith, Bob Kelly, Ray Kent, Daniel Treacy, Paul Damian, and Muff Wile. After a brief hiatus, The Times returned in 1988, at which point it effectively became a solo project for Edward Ball.
