The Torquays were a 1960s garage band hailing from San Bernardino, California. Known for their energetic performances, they had the opportunity to open for the Rolling Stones during one of their US tours. The band consisted of members R. Casdin, Eddie Perez, Danny Rentz, and Lance Sanvik. Between 1964 and 1967, The Torquays released a series of five singles and achieved some regional success, although they never gained national recognition. By 1968, the band disbanded. A year later, the members reformed under the name Travellers Aid.
