The Trammps are a soulful vocal group known for their contributions to disco music. They originated in 1960s Philadelphia and were initially called The Moods. The original lead vocalist was not specified, but the group included members such as a guitarist, keyboardist, organist, bassist, and drummer Michael Thomas. After undergoing various changes in identity, they emerged as the Trammps in the mid-1970s, featuring lead vocalist Ellis, along with Stanley Wade and Young.
