The Uniques is a Jamaican vocal group formed in the late 1960s. The original lineup included members who were later replaced by new members. After the departure of Shirley and White, they were succeeded by other artists, one of whom is known as Slim Smith. The group disbanded when Slim Smith went solo. In 1978, the band reformed with new members and welcomed another artist in 1997.
