The USSR Ministry of Culture Chamber Choir, also known as the USSR State Chamber Choir, was founded in 1971. Initially named the Moscow Conservatory State Chamber Choir, it should not be confused with another group established in 1994. In 1991, the choir merged with the USSR Ministry of Culture State Symphony Orchestra. For the men's group of the choir, please refer to the appropriate designation.
