The Valdons were a Minnesota funk band active in the early 1970s, consisting of members Monroe Wright, William Clark, Maurice Young, Clifton Curtis, and Napoleon Crayton. They were supported by a backing band known as Navajo Train. After their time with The Valdons, Crayton went on to join Band Of Thieves, while the other four members continued their musical journey as The Philadelphia Story.
