The Vel-Vets were a female soul group from Los Angeles, California, active in the 1960s. The group consisted of Imogene Brown, also known as Jeannie, Rosalyn Williams, and Donna Slater, who was also known as Darlene. They made an appearance at the "Watts Summer Festival."
