The Veldt is an alternative guitar group hailing from Raleigh, NC, USA. Known for their extensive use of reverb and delay effects, the band gained recognition in the 1990s as they opened for notable acts such as The Cocteau Twins, The Pixies, Lush, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Despite their efforts and performances across the US, The Veldt never surpassed cult status during their heyday.
