The Victims were an Australian punk band from Perth, Western Australia, active from 1977 to 1979. The band, formed in early 1977, consisted of Dave Faulkner on guitar and vocals, Dave Cardwell on bass, and an unnamed drummer. They released two 7" records, a single and an EP, which were compiled over ten years later with a bonus track on a 12" release. In the late 2010s, Dave and James reactivated the band with the bassist from Hard-Ons, performing numerous shows across Australia and releasing two new 7" records along with a self-titled compilation LP covering their work from 1977 to 1978. This compilation was originally released in Japan in 2011. The Victims played their final show at The Rosemount Hotel in Perth on June 10, 2023.
