The Wedding Present is a band formed in Leeds, England, in 1984 from the remnants of Lost Pandas. The only constant member throughout their history is singer/songwriter David Gedge. The original lineup included guitarist Peter Solowka, bassist Keith Gregory, and drummer Shaun Charman. Over the years, approximately 25 musicians have been part of the band. As of summer 2025, the current lineup features Gedge, Rachael Wood on guitar, Stuart Hastings on bass, and Christopher Hardwick on drums, with David Coyle occasionally serving as a stand-in guitarist.
