The Westerlies is a New York-based brass quartet formed in 2011 by Riley Mulherkar and Zubin Hensler on trumpet, and Andy Clausen and Willem de Koch on trombone. The group explores influences from jazz, roots, and chamber music. They take their name from the prevailing winds that travel from the West to the East.
