**The Whooliganz Bio** The Whooliganz was an early 1990s hip hop group consisting of Mad Skillz (Scott Caan) and Mudfoot (Alan Maman). The duo met as teenagers in Beverly Hills, California, and began performing throughout the Los Angeles area, gaining recognition. With the help of Maman's childhood friend Evidence, they were introduced to Quincy Jones III and started working on a demo. Their talent caught the attention of B-Real from Cypress Hill, leading them to join the Soul Assassins collective, which included Cypress Hill, House of Pain, and Funkdoobiest. This connection helped them secure a record deal with Tommy Boy Records. The Whooliganz recorded their debut album, *Make Way for the W*, with the first single "Put Your Handz Up," produced by DJ Lethal, released in 1993. Unfortunately, the single and its music video did not receive much airplay. A second single, "Don't Mean Nothin'," was planned, but Tommy Boy ultimately decided to drop the group and not release the album. In 1995, another song titled "Whooliganz" was released as a single in the UK on Positiva/EMI Records, but by then, the duo had already parted ways.
