**Bio: The Wild Ones** The Wild Ones are a rock band from New York City, USA. In 1964, they served as the house band at the Peppermint Lounge, famous for the hit song "Peppermint Twist." Shortly after, Sybil Burton, the ex-wife of Richard Burton, opened a new dance club called Arthur in NYC and invited the band to be the house band, leading to the club's sensational success. Lead singer Jordan Christopher caught Sybil's attention, and they began dating before eventually marrying, becoming a notable celebrity couple. Their marriage attracted significant media attention, which helped raise the band's profile. They recorded an album titled "The Arthur Sound" in 1965 and appeared in films such as "The Fat Spy" (1966) alongside Phyllis Diller and Jayne Mansfield, with Jordan also taking on an acting role, and "Step Out of Your Mind" (1966). The band auditioned for the pilot of "The Monkees," but the producers chose actors who could play instead of musicians who could act. After Jordan left the band to pursue acting, Chuck Alden took over lead vocal duties. Their first single post-Jordan was "Wild Thing," but it did not achieve success. They then recorded the soundtrack for the film "Lord Love a Duck," featuring Roddy McDowall and Tuesday Weld. The Wild Ones continued to perform at Arthur and toured various Arthur clubs across the country until they disbanded
