The Willows is a US vocal group hailing from 114th Street in Harlem. Originally formed as "The Dovers" in 1950, the group was a doo-wop quintet that included twin brothers Joe Martin and Richie Davis, along with other members who were later replaced. In 1954, they dropped the "Five" from their name for booking purposes. The Willows are best known for their song "Church Bells May Ring," released in 1956, which reached #62 on the charts, overshadowed by a successful cover version by another artist.
