The Wimple Winch was a psychedelic pop/rock band based in Manchester, UK. Originally formed in Liverpool as "Dee Fenton & the Silhouettes," they underwent several name changes, becoming Just Four Men before settling on Wimple Winch. The band consisted of Demetrius "Dee" Christopholus on vocals, John Kelman on lead guitar, Peter Turner on rhythm guitar, Barrie Ashall on bass guitar, and Lawrence Arends on drums. They disbanded in 1968.
