The Wise Guys were a German a cappella band founded in 1985 in Cologne as a student rock band. Initially named the Wise Guys in 1990, the original members included Daniel Dickopf, Edzard Hüneke, Marc Sahr, Clemens Tewinkel, and Christoph Tettinger. Over the years, the band experienced several lineup changes: Christoph Tettinger left in 1995, and Ferenc Husta took over as the bass singer. Clemens Tewinkel departed in 2009, with Nils Olfert joining as the new tenor. In 2012, Ferenc Husta left, and Andrea Figallo became the new bass singer. Andrea Figallo then left in 2016, leading to Björn Sterzenbach taking over as the bass singer. However, the band ultimately dissolved in 2017, giving rise to a new band.
