The Wurzels are a "Scrumpy and Western" band hailing from Somerset in the West of England. They gained fame for their chart-topping hit "The Combine Harvester," which reached number one in 1976, along with their number three hit "I Am A Cider Drinker," also released in 1976. The current lineup includes Tommy Banner on accordion, piano, and vocals since 1967, Pete Budd on lead vocals, banjo, and guitar since 1974, Louie Nicastro on keyboards and backing vocals since 2005 (part-time), Sedge Moore (also known as Russ Crook) on bass and vocals since 2007, Dan "Dribble" Lashbrook on keyboards and backing vocals since 2017 (part-time), and Lee Delamere on drums and backing vocals since 2021. The band has seen several past members, including lead vocalist Adge Cutler (1966-1974), who passed away on May 5, 1974, and Reg Quantrill (banjo, guitar, 1966-1974), who died on June 7, 2012.
